Devotional Cover

I ran across this lovely cover for a religious devotional on painted parchment.  It was bound by Christian Engelmann, 1715 Germany.


It has some promising elements for a future rug.

This photo is one I snapped with my cell phone of pillow I liked (photo of photo on monitor--that explains the poor quality).  Great idea for a scrap project!
